CAN I GET TWO CRUMBLE PLINTHS THAT ARE IDENTICAL?
No plinths are identical, each piece is made with a unique composition of different plastics. Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, your plinth may slightly vary in colour and pattern to the plinths photographed.
When melting recycled plastic the heat may produce specs of black or colour alterations on the plinths. We do quality control checks before sending the product to you, and if we deem there are major blemishes and aren’t happy with the quality, we send it back to the manufacturers.
Please note, we do not offer returns for colour blemishes on the plinths.

DO YOU USE ARTIFICIAL DYES TO MAKE CRUMBLE FURNITURE?
No, picture a supermarket aisle – lots of plastic in lots of different shades. That’s how our products get their unique colour palette. The plastic we use has already been dyed for the original product it was intended for.
HOW CAN YOUR PLINTHS BE RECYCLABLE IF THERE ARE INTERNAL FIXINGS?
Our products have been designed for the long haul, with classic lines and quality craftsmanship. We really hope you never want to part with your piece, but on the off chance you do, you can contact us for disassembling instructions.
Once you’ve notified us that you wish to disassemble your piece, we will process a prepaid postage slip for you to return the fixings to us free of charge. We can then reuse them for other customers' orders and products. The plastic sheets can then be put out in your recycling bin.
Need some help taking your plinth apart? You can return it to our warehouse while it’s still assembled, however shipping the whole product will be at your own expense.
WHAT KIND OF PLASTIC ARE CRUMBLE PRODUCTS MADE FROM?
Crumble furniture is made from recycled High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE).
Most household items are made from this type of plastic – bottled water, shampoo and conditioner bottles, cleaning products and so on.
The plastic bottles and lids are all donated to our manufacturers from various industries.
IS MY CRUMBLE PLINTH SUITABLE FOR OUTSIDE USE?
Crumble plinths are not suitable for outdoor use as they aren’t weatherproof. We know, your piece would look amazing lounging by the pool and we are working on it. For now, keep it safe and sound indoors.
